Angie Robertson
Angie Robertson lives and works in Chicago and graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2010. During law school, she spent two years interning for CARPLS Legal Aid and volunteering as a mediator. Angie set out to pursue a career in public interest law, but when the financial reality of the Chicago legal job market and her student loan burden both set in, she began doing document review for various agencies. Currently, Angie is learning Spanish, blogging, and enjoying life as a newly-wed. She’s open-minded about the future of her career. Her favorite thing about temping? Not taking work home!
Aurora Villegas-Levinson
Aurora graduated from Tulane Law School in 2010 and is a licensed attorney in Illinois. She moved to New Orleans one week before Hurricane Katrina and decided to become an attorney shortly after the Hurricane. After graduating, Aurora worked as a sales associate at Macy’s, where she mastered the art of selling stuff no one really needs. At the same time, Aurora worked as a volunteer attorney at the Homeland Alliance and Metropolitan Family Services. She is now a contract attorney and is in the process of setting up her own practice. Being her own boss has allowed Aurora to follow her three passions: writing, cooking, and sci-fi. It has also allowed her to spend as much time as she can with her husband and their wonderful dog. Following her writing dreams, Aurora recently joined JBTL as a writer.
